             AI is termed as Artificial Intelligence. It is the ability of a computer program or a machine to think like humans do. AI is using technology to do things which used to require human intelligence. For example, problem solving and learning ,speech recognition, planning etc.,

            In  August 31,1995, the term AI is coined  in a proposal for a "2month , 10 man study of artificial intelligence  submitted by John Mc Carthy. In 2006, five years before his death, he is announced as the father of AI.

THREE TYPES OF AI:

• Narrow or weak AI
• General or Strong AI
• Artificial superintelligence   

                 

           This Artificial Intelligence acted as the main driver of emerging technologies like Big Data, Robotics and IOT.

CURRENT AI IS USED IN:

             Retails, shopping and fashion. Security and survillance. Sports analytics and Activities. Manufacturing and Production.

FIRST AI PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE:

              The first practical and still most widely used AI programming language is the functional language Lisp developed by John Mc Carthy in the late 1950s.

               Lisp is termed as List processing, that was designed for easy manipulation of data strings.
